The JCHS Alumni & Community Foundation offers the Foundation Scholarship and a variety of Legacy Scholarships created by JCHS alumni and community partners. Seniors and Alumni can apply for scholarships they qualify for based on their interests, activities, and future education plans. Each scholarship below has its own requirements, award amount, and essay, so review each one carefully before applying.
JCHS ALUMNI & COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline: March 31, 2027
The JCHS Alumni & Community Foundation provides scholarships to eligible James Campbell High School seniors and alumni who are current Foundation members and have confirmed enrollment in an accredited institution of higher education, including colleges, universities, apprenticeship programs, or trade schools.
FRELYNN (’83) & ROGAN (’84) KAHALEHILI SCHOLARSHIP
Application Deadline: March 31, 2027
The Frelynn and Rogan Kahalehili Scholarship supports a graduating senior who attended James Campbell High School continuously for all four years and has completed a minimum of 60 total community service hours: at least 40 hours outside of Campbell High School and at least 20 hours through Campbell High School activities or clubs. Eligible applicants must have participated in at least one school or community organization or sport during their four years, be on track to graduate, and have confirmed enrollment in an institution of higher education. Applicants must also meet all JCHS Alumni & Community Foundation scholarship requirements. Total award: $2,000
ALAN H. KODAMA ('82) SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline: March 31, 2027
The Alan H. Kodama Scholarship is awarded to Seniors who are on track to graduate, have participated in a sport during high school, and have confirmed plans to attend a four‑year college or university. Applicants must also meet all JCHS Alumni & Community Foundation scholarship requirements. Total award: $1,000
FRANCES RIVERO ('65) SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline: March 31, 2027
The Frances Rivero Scholarship is awarded to Seniors who are on track to graduate. Preference is given to current or former members of the Hale Pono Ewa Beach Boys & Girls Club who exemplify the Clubhouse mission of becoming productive, caring, and responsible citizens of Ewa Beach and beyond. Applicants must also meet all JCHS Alumni & Community Foundation scholarship requirements.
THE JOHN ('77) & LEI MAHOE ALOHA LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline: March 31, 2027
The John & Lei Mahoe Aloha Legacy Scholarships are awarded to female Seniors who are on target to graduate, is of Hawaiian descent, and who actively participated in any sport while in high school. Must satisfy the requirements of the JCHS Alumni & Community Foundation scholarship. Total award: $1,000.
ROXANNE "ROCKY" MALAMA ('85) SPIRIT SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline: March 31, 2027
The Roxanne "Rocky" Malama Spirit Scholarships are awarded to Saber Cheerleaders who are on target to graduate and who exudes the spirit and love for Campbell High School and the Ewa Beach community. Must satisfy the requirements of the JCHS Alumni & Community Foundation scholarship. Total award: $1,000.
JCHS PTSA COMMUNITY & SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline: March 31, 2027
The JCHS PTSA Community & Service Scholarships are awarded to Seniors who are on target to graduate and demonstrate a strong commitment to helping others and improving their community. Must satisfy the requirements of the JCHS Alumni & Community Foundation scholarship. Total award: $500
